InstantSnap is a platform for photography enthusiasts to share their work and exchange photography insights with each other. This Privacy Policy covers how InstantSnap handles the Personal Information (as defined herein) that you share with us and the data we collect when you visit our Application and/or our Services. Personal information about our users is an integral part of our business, so please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using or accessing our Application or our Services, you agree to the Privacy Policy outlined below.

What Does this Privacy Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy covers InstantSnap’s treatment of personal information that we collect when you use our Applications and Services. This Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that InstantSnap does not own or control, including, but not limited to, third-party services that you access through InstantSnap, the Applications or Services, or individuals that InstantSnap does not employ or manage. Because our Services integrate with third-party websites (such as Facebook) and other websites and social networks, we assume that you are aware of the privacy policies of these other websites and networks when you use our Applications and/or our Services and when you allow us to interact with them on your behalf.

There are three basic ways we collect information:
  • - Information you choose to give us
  • - Information we obtain when you use our services
  • - Information we obtain from third parties
Here’s a little more detail on each of these categories.

By visiting and interacting with InstantSnap, its App and/or its Service, you provide us with Personal Information which may include, but is not limited to, the following:
• - Personally Identifiable Information: This may include, but is not limited to, information you provide when you register to use the App and/or Services, including your name, profile picture, date of birth, address, email address, occupation, gender, age, birthday.
• - The above information you choose to provide may be shared with your contacts on our Services. You have full control over your profile information and can access and modify it at any time. In addition, your profile is discoverable by other users unless you opt out (which you can do at any time in the settings of our App). You can choose to "block" any user on our platform to prevent unwanted access to your personal information.
Of course, you will also provide us with any information you send through the Services. Remember that users to whom you send text, images, and any other content can always save that content or copy it outside of the App. Therefore, the same common sense that applies to the entire Internet also applies to InstantSnap: do not send messages or share content that you would not want others to save or share. It may go without saying, but we will say it anyway: when you contact InstantSnap support or communicate with us in any other way, we will collect any information you voluntarily provide.

When you use our Services, we collect information about which Services you have used and how you have used them. For example, we may know that you have used a filter in an application and how many times you have used that filter. Here is a more detailed description of the types of information we collect when you use our Services:
Usage Information. We collect information about your activities through our Services. We may collect information including, but not limited to, the following:
  • - How you interact with the Services, such as which filters you have viewed or how many times you have applied discovery.
  • - How you communicate with other InstantSnap users, such as their names, the times and dates you communicated, the number of messages you exchanged with friends, which friends you exchanged messages with the most, and your interactions with messages (such as when you open a message or capture a screenshot). We allow you to share text messages, photos, screenshots, and other forms of communication with other users on our Services, and if you choose to do so, your text messages, photos, screenshots, and other communications may be stored on our servers. In addition, if you choose to share these items with other users, we may not be able to delete them from our servers or make them unavailable to anyone with whom you have shared them. It is your decision to share, photos, screenshots, on our Services. By choosing to share this information, you should understand that you may no longer control how it is used and that it may become publicly available. We are not responsible for the use or misuse of any information you share.
• - Device Information. We collect device-specific information such as operating wireless network, non-direct display content moderation. We require the ability to access your camera in order for you to use and enjoy the Services whilst using the App and our Site and also to help us with our compliance requirements, such as ensuring under 18s are not permitted to use our App or our Site.
  • - User Content, We require from your device access to use and to copy your photos for your profile picture and any photos/ media files you choose to share, so they can be reproduced in the App and our Site. Such as photos, screenshots, comments, and other materials you create on the Services may also be collected. Your photos may be captured by other users on the Services.
  • - Log Information. We also collect log information when you use our website. This information includes, but is not limited to:
  • - Details about how you use our Services.
  • - Access times.
  • - IP address.
  • - If you communicate with us via email and other means (Twitter, Facebook, etc.), we may retain a record of your contact information and communications and use that contact information and communications when we respond to you.

• What do we do with the information we collect? In short: to provide you with an amazing suite of products and services that we are constantly improving. But we also do more, such as:
  • - Develop, operate, improve, deliver, maintain, and protect our products and services.
  • - Communicate with you.
  • - Monitor and analyze trends and usage.
  • - Personalize the Services by, for example, recommending friends or profile information, or customizing the content (including ads) we show you.
  • - Enhance the security of our products and services.
  • - Verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
  • - Enforce our Terms of Service and other usage policies.
We may also store some information locally on your device. For example, we may store information as a local cache so that you can open apps and view content more quickly.

In some cases, we may share your personal information with third-party service providers to further improve and optimize the services we provide to you. We may share information about you in the following ways:
  • - With other users. We may share the following information with other users
  • - Information about you, such as your username and name;
  • - Information about how you interact with the Service, such as the names of users you are friends with, and other information that helps users understand the connections between you and other people who use the Service. For example, because it may not be clear whether a new friend request is from someone you actually know, we may share whether you and the requester have a common InstantSnap friend;
  • - With all users and the public. We may share the following information with all users and the public:
  • - Public information, such as a profile picture you submit to InstantSnap. If the InstantSnap Service is played on the web or broadcast in other media, it may be visible to the general public. You expressly agree that the information you provide when registering for the Application and/or the content you create while using the Application(including but not limited to photos, text, posts, images and other content) may be recorded, stored, published and made available to other InstantSnap users. In addition, other users may follow you on the App, and your followers may see the User Contributions you upload to the App, etc. Individuals reading this information may use or disclose this information to other individuals or entities without our control and without your knowledge. Therefore, we urge you to carefully consider including any specific information you may consider private in the information you provide or the content you create on the App. Due to server facilities and third-party service teams, your information may also be stored and processed in any country where we provide services. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of any such information outside of your country. If you do not agree to all the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use our services. Community safety is our top priority, and in order to create a safe community for all users, some of the above user information is mandatory.

The Services may also contain third-party links and search results, including third-party integrations, or co-branded or third-party-branded services offered in conjunction with other companies. By accessing these links, using third-party integrations, or using co-branded or third-party-branded services, you may be providing information (including Personal Information) directly to the third party, to us, or to both. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for how these third parties collect or use your information. If you use Personal Data that may be made available to others on our Services, you are at all times solely responsible for its content and accuracy. As always, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of every third-party website or service you visit or use, including third parties with whom you interact through our Services.

Finally - and this is important - you should understand that users who see the content you provide can always save it using a variety of techniques: screenshots, in-app features, or any other image capture technology. As with any digital information, there is also the possibility that someone will be able to forensically access messages or find them in the temporary storage of a device. If any user information of our application is deleted, we cannot guarantee that the deletion will occur within a specific time frame. We may also retain certain information as backup for a limited time or as required by law.

Protecting user privacy and personal information is our top priority. We process your personal information to improve and enforce our security measures, combat spam, malware, malicious activity or security risks, and monitor and verify your identity to prevent unauthorized users from accessing your account with us. Only our employees, contractors, agents and third-party service providers have access to any user information who need to know that information to provide, operate, develop, maintain, support and optimize our service experience and security. We use password protection, access logs and system monitoring to protect the confidentiality and security of all user information. Due to the inherent nature of the Internet and related technologies, we cannot guarantee that the information under our control will not be lost, misused or altered.

We want you to be in control of your information, so we provide you with the following tools.
  • - Access and Update. We strive to give you access to and control over the personal information we hold about you. However, there are limits to the requests we can fulfill. We may deny a request for a number of reasons, for example if the request jeopardizes the privacy of other users or is unlawful. You can access and update your account information directly in the app by visiting the app's Settings page. If you need to access, update, or delete any other personal information we may have, you can make that request here. Because your privacy is important to us, we may ask you to verify your identity or provide additional information before we allow you to access or update your personal information. You can also delete our services from your mobile device or delete your account.
  • - Withdrawal of permissions. If you change your mind about us collecting information from certain sources you have consented to (such as your camera, photos), you can withdraw your consent by simply changing the settings on your device (if your device offers these options). Of course, some services may lose full functionality if you do this.
  • - Deletion. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information in certain circumstances. Please note that your right to deletion may be limited if the data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • - Restriction of processing: You have the right to object to and request the restriction of the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • - Objection: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
InstantSnap will no longer process the personal information unless InstantSnap demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;

You can choose to remove your data anytime you want. If you ask us to delete your account, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to remove your data from our servers, subject to any applicable legal or other requirement to maintain certain records of your personally identifiable data. Please note that the deletion of your personally identifiable data from our database may result in us not being able to provide you with the Service.
If you need to delete any data or personal information that we may have, you can simply tap “Me-Settings-Delete account”, but we may ask you to verify your identity or provide additional information before we let you delete your personal information.

We may let other companies use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies on the services. These companies may collect information about how you use the services and other websites and online services over time and across different services. This information may be used to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your online activity.
Additionally, some companies may use the information they collect on our services to deliver targeted advertisements on behalf of us or other companies, including on third-party websites and apps. InstantSnap does not currently respond to do-not-track signals that may be sent from your device. If we do so in the future, we will provide information about that practice in an updated version of this privacy policy.

Our services are not intended for—and we don’t direct them to—anyone under 18. And that’s why we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. But when we do, we’ll let you know one way or another. Sometimes, we’ll let you know by revising the date at the top of the privacy policy that’s available on our website and mobile application. Other times, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our websites’ homepages or providing you with an in-app notification).
